It’s one of the most common compliments a church can receive: "Everyone was so friendly!" While Pastor Matt celebrates the incredible work of the hospitality team and the welcoming culture at Northland, he challenges us this week to realize that being a "friendly church" is only the starting point. As one pastor famously said, "People aren't looking for a friendly church; they're looking for friends".
In this message, we explore the third pillar of our mission: being a people to belong to. We move beyond surface-level greetings to the deep, sometimes difficult work of true biblical community. We examine how Jesus didn't just break down the barrier of sin between us and God; He broke down the barriers that exist between us as people.
